Hey everyone, what's the temperature where you are? It's 95 here in Greensboro, NC, and will hit 97

That *is* unusually cool - I remember last year reading about how unbearably hot it was over there.

Aiiiieeeee! You've gotten us beaten! I'm sure you're planning to go for a jog, right? smileys/wink.gif

It was 104 here yesterday, and the weather girl actually said, "since the normal...

...high is 106, we are enjoying this relatively cool weather!"

O....K.

Michael

shall I make you a Bete Noir? and, if we do have a heat wave and hit 70, we can walk

on the beach to cool offf smileys/wink.gif)

Michael, you neglected to tell everyone the dewpoints are hovering

in the 70's. That, along with the high temps makes it such a "wonderful" place to be in the summer!!!!! LOL Sometimes it's hard to keep in mind "we do live in the desert" Ha

I thought AZ was supposed to be very dry, hence, one didn't feel the heat as much. What happened?

We are in the middle of our "Monsoon Season" It's probably the

only stretch of the year that we get some decent rainfall. I believe it was 143 days of no rain until this season started. Yeah, we're pretty dry most of the year.

Oh Meryl, this should help ease your pain...

I just read that "the antioxidant capacity of one serving of Hershey's Extra Dark chocolate (37 grams) is equal to that of three cups of black tea, two glasses of red wine or 1 1/3 cups of blueberries."
sources: Journal of the American Medical Association, the U.S.D.A. and the Hershey Company.

Oh and we should hit 97 tomorrow with a "real feel" of 105, due to high humidity.
