Hey LisainLA, I say Col Mustard in the library with a candlestick!

LOL! Actually, last round it was Mrs. Meadowbrook at the cart.....

We love Clue so much we actually have both versions - the original and the newer Clue Mysteries.

The newer one is based more on deductive reasoning skills, so it makes it a bit more fun for our son to play, even though he likes both. You have to narrow down the suspect with clues describing their attributes, and then Mr Boddy gives you the location where the suspect is hiding. There are 50 crime stories (all non-lethal), and each game begins with the story of the crime to set the stage.

The board is set up as the town of Hampshire, and you move around the town to 8 locations to gather clues from the witnesses/suspects - Miss Scarlett at the theatre, Col. Mustard at his lodge, Professor Plum at his castle, Mrs. Peacock's residence, Rev. Green's church, Mrs. White's cottage, Mr. Boddy's Tudor mansion, and Inspector Brown at the police station.

Fun!

Thanks for this info. I will get this for the grandkids. They like to do family games.

And if it involves reasoning and problem solving, so much the better.
