61% Dark Chocolate Tasting:

Chocolate mousse coated in a dark chocolate shell with dark chocolate chantilly cream and dark chocolate velvet. Served with a bubble chocolate sphere, devil's food cake and dark chocolate decor.

I passed and had a Strawberry Shortcake

A creme fraiche cake with a strawberry compote and sweet vanilla mascarpone cream. Topped with a strawberry macaron.

Mine too--the Bounty didn't exist in my days there. All of the now enclosed areas that surround...

the grassy yard were open cloisters back then. I sometimes hear the monks chanting.

The campus is really changing. I was amazed at how beautiful the fountains and flowers were.

The landscaping is amazing. And that's just the outside!
I love going there. The energy level is so high.

Yes, Cyn, I graduated way back in 75--just one year after they moved to

Hyde Park from the original school located on the Yale campus in New Haven.

The CIA was established in 1945 to educated GI's coming back from the service.

The present day location was once a monestary and has grown at an unbelievable rate thanks to donations from alumni and the industry.

knew the school's history but didn't know yours! Have you been back recently? We went over

to the classrooms in the bakery and pastry program to see a friend of mine (chef called us in and gave us THE best cinnamon raisin bread I have ever tasted!) I didn't know that a prospective student wanted to become a pastry chef and found there was no pastry program. So his father donated the funds for the building and program.
Must be nice!

Not for about a year. Every time I go back there something new has been built. I love to go in the

fall when the trees are full of apples and are changing color.
