Have you thought about subbing 1/2 cup of the whipping cream with 1/2 cup of sour cream?
I absolutely adore Bittersweet Chocolate and Sour Cream Ganache and was wondering if you'd thought about that and how you might go about incorporating it since you've already made this.
And then, there's always cream cheese...
Bittersweet Chocolate Cream Cheese Ganache Ice Cream??? I used to make this amazing concoction when I was a tot called "Ice Box Fudge" that was cream cheese, vanilla, Hershey's cocoa, butter, and powdered sugar stirred up and frozen. It seemed very close to ice cream.
It was sinful.
