The highlight of our trip to the Mainland was staying with Pat from TO and her husband. Pat is a fabulous cook and she spent a few weeks in the South of France at cooking seminars this Summer, shopping at the wonderful Provence markets and generally just tweaking her already wonderful cooking skills. We cooked together in her kitchen and ate flavorful yet untortured (just for you, Richard and Michael) food.
It is fun to be back home. I didn't have access to the forum most of my trip. I have shied away from talking too much about foods in the last few months as I went on a big diet (40th class reunion- couldn't go back fat!) but I missed you all and will try to get back to posting more.
