Hi all.

Welcome back Marge. We've had many B.O. A's (be on the lookout) for you. Hope everythings ok.

Hi Marg.. you were sorely missed.... I hunted & hunted for your

email address, but, alas, when we switched computers, it was lost in cyberspace. Hope all is well with you and hubby!

Thanks for the greetings. I've missed being here. ....

It's been a very long and exhausting and frustrating and tense summer. But I'm happy to say that contrary to the predictions (and advice) of 7 different doctors, my husband still has not just one leg, but TWO!!

He isn't out of the woods yet, but I have certainly reconfirmed my opinion that we have to do our own research even on medical issues. And I applaud the nursing community for the care and skills that they offer.

So, now back to food.

Marg, what good news!...your PM box has been overflowing a long time ago....

I am so happy for both of you.
Big hugs
J

Marg,

so good to see you posting again and I'm so glad you persevered and got the care you knew was warranted. I've been there. If you let them, they'll take the easiest path for themselves. My grandfather almost lost one of his legs to an Army doctor in Italy during War II. He refused to let them do it (and quite literally fought them off). He used them the rest of his life.

Thought you might be interested in knowing that in these days of air travel, French fleur de sel can cause quite a bit of commotion at security. My other half got to return to Paris already on a business trip and I sent my shopping list along (didn't buy enough salt!). Sure enough, all those containers of salts raised quite a few eyebrows. Luckily they finally believed it was just SALT and let it pass.
