The cards and letters are lovely, but I must confess...I don't recognize some of the names. With the online aliases, up until now, we haven't known eachother on a first name basis. smileys/wink.gif

So, if you've mailed something my way, would you do me a favor and shoot me e-mail with your name and Finer Kitchen alias? I want to put together a group e-mail and communicate with everyone.

Hi all. Thanks for the messages. With the PMs, I can't reply to multiple people at the same time, hence the request for e-mail. But that didn't work out too well...so I'll just be a bit cryptic here. smileys/wink.gif

I've hit a snag and I don't think we'll meet the target date. Artists...holidays...you know.

Also, earlier tonight I left Pat NoCal a rather frantic message and so, before you hear it from anyone else...at some point today, my home was broken into. They did not take personal information (your lovely cards/letters were still on my desk), but they did take my computer and some other stuff.

The officer was very nice and I'm insured, but it will delay my response time since now I don't have access to a computer at home. Looking on the bright side, when the insurance pays out, I'll finally be able to get a Mac. smileys/smile.gif

In the meantime, bear with me.

This is a set-back, but my mantel full of Holiday cards has renewed my spirit. (Until I have to do battle with the insurance company, anyway.)

Oh no, Traca - how horrible!

I'm so sorry! I can't imagine how freaked out you must be right now - I'm only glad that you weren't hurt.

Please take care of yourself and be safe. Don't worry about the other stuff - your safety comes first. Change all the locks (house and car), report the theft to the credit bureaus, etc... I'm sure you must be doing all of this already.
