Hilarious reading, the new Sweden twitter account is a food blogger who cooks in her coffee machine

When visiting east coast lobster country, I ordered tea with lemon and bread with lots of butter.

Took it all up to the hotel room and when we picked up the steamed 15-pound lobster we had ordered from the pound, we melted the butter with the lemon over my hair curlers. Best lobster ever.

While waiting for our kitchen to arrive from Germany, back at home, I learned how to cook on the old plate of the corn popper. Remember when they consisted of a hot plate and a plastic dome over. Did that for 2 months.

I did this in Cancun 1995 before they put coffee machines in room. I NEED my coffee early.

Had my MIL with me and we would bring back all kinds of interesting soups from the "real" food shopping district. The most interesting was reheating spaghetti in the carafe. (What can I say...she's Italian and wanted her left-over spaghetti.)

Ahhh, what we do for food!

While visiting Glacier NP in late August, we were surprised to find that a large shipment of whole Sockeye salmon was due at the local grocery store so we canceled our hotel and rented a condo with a full kitchen and grill for one night. Amazing salmon (almost worth the extra housekeeping fee that we didn't notice when we rented the condo) and salmon salad leftovers that were lunch and dinner for our remaining days at the park. I still smile when I remember standing in a driving snowstorm eating salmon salad from a zipper sandwich bag. smileys/wink.gif Colleen
