Hmmm, my cat likes dill havarti. And melon. Lol. Oh! And peanut butter - anyone else have odd pets

I used to have a cat who would fight you for green beans. Another that tried to take hot chili and

chocolate frozen yogurt away from me. I got the green bean kitty at the pound next to a largely Seventh Day Adventist community and I always laughed and said he came from there and was a vegetarian.

The first thing I gave my kitty was a pizza crust to nibble on until I got her home

and now she sits on the floor right near me every single time I have something with pasta sauce on it. Besides that, she doesn't get (or even want) any people food. Just spaghetti sauce ;o)

The other one (her daughter) likes to take the kernels off leftever corn, baked potatoes, and butter. Only if she can steal them though. If you give them to her, she'll sniff them and walk away.

My cat (RIP) loved asparagus so at least someone else wuld eat it

with me since DD and DH won't touch the stuff. He especially liked the old fashioned canned asparagus casserole that I make from mom's recipe.

Manzanilla olives. They swat them around first because they are so sour, then take

a nibble, swat their little faces a few times, then come back for more, bouncing around the floor. Both of our cats had the same reaction.

Our previous kitty was addicted to Doritos!

At least until they "improved" them.

All it would take to get his attention was to open the bag. He'd come running and demand to be fed pieces. If they weren't coming fast enough for him, we'd get the head-butt to the arm or his paw would shoot toward a handful of chips.
Watching him chew up the bits was humorous. Hiw upper lip would be curled back and he's be chomping with his teeth all showing.

My boys get lots of fruits and veggies in their diet...

they love bananas. Apples are very popular, orange segments, green beans, sugar snap peas, carrots, but the favorites are:

Blueberries and raw potato skins.

Our female cat likes to run over to us when we get ice out and will watcht the cubes melt. . .

if we leave one or two on the floor. She will sometimes bat them around, but the random movements of the cube when melting really interest her!

My Dillan eats, carrots, zucchini, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale,

apples, peas, cabbage, swiss chard, hard boiled eggs, all ground up with either , ground turkey, chicken, beef, organ meats, ground bones, dried liver treats and a few bites of our steak, or other meats.
we have never had a serious vet bill in almost nine years. I'd like to think the diet was a big player, but genetics must have helped, as well.
