I posted in Who Are You and realized my first recipe from the old swap was printed out in spring of 1996!!!

(I thought it was 1995 at first, but I was wrong.)

Gosh, time flies!

I just want to let you know that thanks to you, my life is more fun, my cooking is steadily improving, my boyfriend adores the recipes I get from you, you put a smile on my face and make my day brighter.

This site is not only about cooking. I also think it improves my mental health! And of all the addictions in the world, you are the best!!!*LOL*

Hi Eva. March of 1996 was my first post "over there" as well, and I had been lurking...

...since 1995, afraid to post my first post. I think Rick was the first swapper to respond and welcome me.

I feel an essay coming on, but I'll restrain myself.

What you mentioned about how getting these wonderful T&T recipes has affected your life in such a positive way, I feel you have hit upon something most of the world may not fully realize. That being the power and positive influence a well-prepared meal has on all who partake!

We 'foodies' are prone to understand, at least to a certain degree, the importance food and cooking has on our lives and the lives of those around us. It truly makes life's moments much more special, and is a blessing to us and our loved ones.

And this place, with all the wonderful talent and resources, pops that blessing into maximum drive!

Long live Finer Kitchens! (I feel a purchase coming on).

me too! I think my first post was mid 1995 boy, 10 years is a long time...

sharing our recipes, knowledge and lives. I've learned so much over the years and can't imagine what life would be like without all of the swappers helping each other. it truly is a gift of the heart.

happy anniversary all!
