So what is 'pretzel salt'? Could you just use kosher? The picture looks yummy!!

I would just use kosher.

My daughter bought me some online and I prefer it to Kosher for foccacia. I used to save the

packets that came with frozen prezels at Costco ( it was way more than one needed) but I think they don't even sell those anymore.
She got it from Spice Barn.
If you are just going to experiment I can send you some if you PM me your address. I have a 42 oz jar and it will last me several generations.

Kosher is more like flakes but the pretzel salt is like rounded beads.

and is crunchier. Just PM me your address.

Kosher is a hard crystal flake whereas pretzel salt is a soft compressed salt
