Hope not too much rockn' and rollin' for our SoCal folks!

Awww, it wuz very interesting. . .

It jerked, shook and rolled for--a while. . . the dog was trying to help us by being protective (read "somewhat scared, and wanting protection by the alphas!") and standing on the couch by us and barking and woofing.

 
It rolled forever but nothing fell. My dog perked up his ears and stood up. Then went to sleep smileys/smile.gif

 
Wow. The 27th was the 50th anniv of the 1964 AK earthquake. 9.2 that one. Shook 4.5 minutes

We went to a big gathering at the museum and they had a 4 minute 38 second silence, and boy was that a long time to be rocking and rolling. My husband was 10 and remembers it all clearly.
