How big is a coffee can? (Buy mine in bags.) For a panettone recipe that

is baked in two 10- to 15-oz coffee cans, I'd like to figure out what size traditional paper mold is equivalent. Thanks.

One of those Illy cans is 8.5 oz. Sorry can't help as that is very small. But thanks for the

idea of what to cook my Christmas pudding in.

Is this a new recipe for you? You already said you had a favourite and you got me wanting to do a panettone as well, but for the first time.

No, same recipe. It says to cook it in two coffee cans and

last year I used three paper moulds. But the place I bought them online now has more sizes, so I wanted to buy moulds that were the same width, at least, as a coffee can. (It's cold and windy, and I was trying to avoid a hike to the supermarket with my measuring tape.)

Hi Shaun, some info for you, hope it is not too late:

My 12 oz coffee can is 4 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall. (We mostly buy bagged coffee too, but DH had some empties in the garage).

The paper liner for the panettone I purchased from Trader Joe's is 7 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall.

Hope this helps!
