How far in advance can I make the Alton Brown apple cake and how should I store it?

I've got to make this again! It's been awhile but I'd say you'd be fine

with 3 days and I just kept it covered in plastic wrap in the fridge I think.

 
I make a similar cake posted by Judy. I try not to eat it for a week as it just gets better. Then

it lasts for another week. I'm not sure how long it would last after that; it's never made it that far.

I make it as a bundt and wrap saran around and around it and store it in the fridge.

It is a loved cake.

 
When I make my German Apple Cake (my personal favorite) I can store it for at lease a week.

I don't keep mine in the fridge- I keep it in a closed tupperware-type container. The cake has never lasted over a week but I'm sure it would.
