How to eat a chicken wing..video. Raise your hand if you knew this. I didn't. ;o)

I was just going to post this same link. Funny. Now, some chicken wing ettiquette...

Before seeing this video, did you gnaw at, separate the meat, or use a knife and fork?! I basically eat them the same way as Chef John shows, and almost fell off my chair when I saw the video pop up on Yahoo's homepage this afternoon...

I don't like (I should say I don't eat much of it, especially if it's dripping with grease and overdone) chicken skin, and of course I don't eat the cartilage (ugh! 'didn't know anyone did), so I eat just the meat. I was told by an obnoxious relative that this was uncouth and messy. I emailed her the video...

I love chicken wings. I usually pull the two bone part away from the drumette

, eat the drumette right off the bone, then take the two bone part and pull the two bones apart. I must try the method shown in the video.

oooh, oooh!! {raising hand}!! can't believe I finally knew something useful smileys/smile.gif

Please excuse me if this sounds snarky, but I'm curious. If you don't like chicken skin and ....

cartilege is distasteful, why do you ever choose to eat chicken wings?

When it's the only thing served at a party ) I like the meat, and the seasonings, but trim the

greasy skin for health reasons. Do you eat the cartilage?

Of course, but then I'll eat almost anything except cilantro. I even like the ..

wing tips. (whatever happens to the tips--they fry up so crispy) Actually I won't serve wings to my son because he just nibbles around the edges (see video) I tell him he doesn't deserve wings. And I remember when wings were the cheapest part in the store!
