I love the Humble Book Bundles - have a ton of programming and robot books, and sometimes I even use them.
This one looks cool - they are electronic books, and you pay what you want, almost. $1 buys five books in the first level, $8 buys those and five more, and $15 buys those and another eight books. Some of the money goes to charity. smileys/smile.gif
I'm keen on 'Make - like a Pioneer', which includes making fire with a bow drill, old-school bookbinding, cider making..... Then in the next level, there is 'Cooking for Geeks' with a lot of science; 'A Thyme and Place' with medieval recipes; 'The Astronauts Cookbook' (our robotics theme for next year is 'In Orbit', this should be useful); and even better things in the 3rd level (for a minimum of $15). I'm excited!
