It is a meeting at the antique store, so I am planning on making minis that are easy to pick up and eat while listening and possibly taking notes. So far I have:

Mini Greek Quiches

Mini Ham and Cheese Quiches

Mini Artichoke Tarts (thank you michelle!)

Mini Vanilla Scones w/ individual heart-shaped apple butters (butter with homemade apple butter mixed in and molded)

Mini Cinnamon Muffins

Cuties (tangerines)

Coffee and tea

How does this sound?

 
Fabulous with one extra thought: gluten-free folks would just have the oranges. How about

6 oz yogurts? Or would that bust the budget?

 
Good thought, but the Greek and Ham and Cheese Quiches are actually not

quiches in the true sense. They have no gluten in them. There is no crust like in a traditional quiche. They use cottage cheese, cheese and eggs to form the quiche. The artichoke tartlet contains bread crumbs, but that is fine. Thanks for the thought!

 
The Cuties are tangerines. I thought that would be easier than providing

fresh juice or chomping on apples. Plus, I love the smell of those little tangerines when someone peels one!

 
It sounds great, and since you are in the business of promoting your

menu items, it's just perfect! (Can I come?!)

 
It went pretty good. I had everything under control, which is always a good thing.

All of the food turned out great, but for this crowd, I wish I had stuck to more traditional breakfast-type foods. I sent home the left over quichelettes with the more foodie in the group. I think I would have been better off with biscuits and gravy (blechh!, I just don't like that white gravy that is so popular around here), a fruit salad and sweet muffins. I will try and cater the right foods to the right people. My farmer's market customers are much more open to unusual foods than the cafe. A conclusion that always frustrates me. All in all, it went fine.
