I am in heaven and the heck with leftover turkey

I crisp fried some chopped bacon, reheated some leftover roasted onion gratin at 50% power in the microwave, then tossed it with nice imported orecchiette and another handful of grated parmesan and a little extra crumbled gorgonzola. The most heavenly blue cheese/bacon pasta "alfredo" ever. A little chopped oil-cured sun dried tomatoes would have been good in it too. (I stuck my kitchen shears in the little bowl of leftover gratin and chopped the onions up before heating.)

I still need to try that!

I had a great breakfast "fry up" of scallopped oysters, turkey, cornbread dressing, and potato pancakes annointed with turkey gravy. Took a break with Thai on Friday and Saturday, so today the leftovers are especially tasty.
