I am looking for a Monegasque (Monaco) Dessert. I just learned the "Monagasque" thing so I am ...

Having been there twice, I don't recall

any particular special "principality" dessert - just your typical French ones.

Luisa, What do you mean by "thing"???

I had the most delicious peach melba in Nice that I'll never forget. It was huge and served in a beautiful green parfait dish.

Here's a dessert menu of Louis XV'S restaurant in Monte Carlo to give you some ideas:

( SEASONAL FRUITS )

• Peaches in olive oil/lemon vinaigrette, sorbet and nectarine Tatin. 26 €

• Local “fraises des bois” in their natural juice, Mascarpone sorbet. 26 €

• Apricot shortbread, vanilla flavor, pistachio ice cream, raspberry and apricot sorbet. 26 €

( CHOCOLATE, MILK )

• Milk ice cream and “fleur de sel”, croquant/caramel with curdled ewe milk. 26 €

• Louis XV with a crispy praline. 26 €

• Rich chocolate granita, Arabica cappuccino coffee with chicory. 26 €

( TRADITIONAL FARE )

• Rum baba, served with your choice of rum, whipped cream. 26 €

• Peach Melba. 26 €

( ICE CREAMS )

• Selection of home-made ice creams and sorbets. 14 €

I didn't know that something from Monaco was Monegasque, I kept calling

it Moroccan, so I guess that's better? LOL!

Duh, I get it now. I wasn't sure if you were having a Monagasque themed

food function or it was a new dance or something? - lol!!

Oh well, I gave you some virtual Monagasque desserts to drool over!!
