I am looking for some ideas for pizzas. What do you put on your's?

REC: Santa Fe Chicken Pizza... I've made this and we all like it a lot - plus, it's QUICK!

Santa Fe Chicken Pizza

Prep time: 15 min.
Preheat oven to 450 deg.

3/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/4" strips
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tbl. chopped fresh cilantro
1 garlic clove, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. salt

1 tbl. olive oil

3/4 cup prepared salsa
12" pizza crust
1-1/2 cups shredded jack cheese
1 tbl. chopped fresh cilantro
1 small tomato, diced
half of an avocado, diced

Combine first 5 ingredients in glass bowl.
Let stand 15 minutes. Drain chicken and pat dry with paper towels.

Heat the olive oil in skillet over high heat. Add chicken and cook just until no longer pink, 2-3 minutes. Spread the salsa over pizza crust. Top with half the cheese, chicken mixture, then rest of cheese. Evenly distribute the cilantro and tomato over top of cheese.

Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle avocado over hot pizza and serve.

if you like sauerkraut...

you have to try Canadian bacon and sauerkraut

make sure you squeeze the kraut well and it goes on top of sauce, cb and cheese. should brown a bit when done.

this is a Iowa, Minnesota Wisconsin special

I love sauerkraut...

in fact I just ordered cabbage from my co-op to make some sauerkraut. I haven't made any in a long time and I am starting to crave it. Especially since I found the snappy hot dogs again. They are just screaming out for some good sauerkraut to go with them.

I wish these were requested in my house!

but I guess that is why individual pizzas will be the way I go. I want to try some of these combinations, they sound wonderful. Thanks!

I used those slow roasted tomatoes on some english muffins with good mozzarella and parm. yum.

very quick and tasty. I had added some garlic and onions to the tomatoes and it made a very fragrant mixture. Will be making more this week.
