from my son-in-law and stepdaughter. I have been getting eggs from them and they decided I needed one. I get pets and eggs all rolled into one!

 
How cool is that! You will have a ball with them. Having grown up around lots of chickens

and eating those good eggs....all fun. They can be so goofy and always made me laugh.

 
That will be so nice! I have a lot of friends who have chickens, what breed are you

getting? I like the eggs from the Americauna/Aracaunas - they're known as the "easter egg" chickens for their pretty blue and green eggs.

 
please report periodically; we're thinking of getting a few hens too
