I bought the coffee grinder, and I'm drinking coffee from home grinded beans right now :-)

I ended up buying a Breville burr grinder. It was kind of pricey BUT it's a good brand and I think this grinder will last me a lifetime so all in all, I think I got a good deal. (Did that sound convincing? Because that's the explanation I'm going to give to DH so he doesn't flip out when he sees yet another gadget in the kitchen....)

Anyways, the coffee tasted very good and I'm happy with my new grider. It has a time button on the side so you can set it to grind for 10 seconds (=one cup), 20 seconds (=2 cups) and 30 seconds (I got four cups out of 30 seconds....)

It grinds the beans from very fine to grainy, but since I usually make espresso (I have a mocca can but hey, what's good enough for Italians are good enough for me) I'll probably mostly grind my beans fine.

Can't wait to start testing out different coffee beans smileys/wink.gif

Congratulations, Marilyn. I hope it doesn't wake up Lar in the morning smileys/wink.gif. Unfortunately,

mine could wake up an entire neighbourhood but fortunately, DH sleeps like a rock so I can basically do whatever I want in the house without waking him up in the morning. Even grind coffee with the noisiest grinder smileys/smile.gif
