ever use one of these, and what else can you roast in it? It's electric, and about 6 inches across - in the shape of a garlic bulb.

 
What about shallots? I think they would be good in some salad dressings.

I must confess that although I love raw and sauteed garlic (and the more the better) I can't stand roasted garlic. There is something about the way it smells that really puts me off. It is one of those things that I have tried to "get" quite a few times and it just doesn't happen.
