A photo of me (holding my cello) with Maestro William White (Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony) after tonight's Seven Hills Sinfonietta "Night in Old Vienna Waltz Cotillion."

My orchestra played Strauss waltzes and polkas and a vintage dance company recreated the Viennese Ballroom in costume complete with champagne!

(Ja. I was in heaven.)

How cool is that!! My MIL said.......

"Yes, indeed, I loved it and wish I had been there. However, the picture of him with his cello did not come through.

Does Richard have any plans to one t4o the Met next season? They are doing"Meistersinger" which I know he would not want to miss."

P.S.... I subsequently sent her a pic of you w/ your cello. What an exciting day for you! Thanks for sharing!!!

Barb...

Your MIL is just the sweetest. We don't have any plans at the moment for NYC. Looks like we're going to Antarctica in February so we probably won't be doing any travel in the fall which is when I was hoping to visit NYC again.

I just love hearing your vacation plans!!! And agree, mil is the sweetest! She was very

impressed when I forwarded the photo with Suzanne Bona.

Sorry we will miss you in the fall!
