I think that I would like to serve this as an appetizer for Christmas Eve, but am at a loss for how I would slice it thinly enough?

Suggestions?

I think I would accompany it with some of my cranberry chutney and some baby greens. Sound good?

 
Sounds delicious. We have it often as an entree here at our community. your

cranberry chutney sounds good. Cherries are a natural also. Slicing it thin shouldn't be a problem with a good sharp knife--serrated? Will it just be on the greens? More like a first course?

Since we have it as an entree I went searching for appetizer recipes. Here's a Yummly post. The ones wrapped in bacon look good to me and much like an appy my sister made with her husband's wild duck.
