I don't know if I should say I'm a pitiful failure or a good trouble

shooter. You all will remember I'm a complete failure at making yeast type bread, (the yeast gods just don't like me) so I found Parker House frozen rolls work just fine thank you very much. Until today. Put 2 pieces of the frozen product into each cup of the muffin pan. Cover with a towel and let the little devils rise and then bake to a beautiful brown. Always works great. Not today. 1, ONE rose, the rest just sat there. I knew I had to do something or I wouldn't have any rolls to go with my delicious chicken and noodle soup so I pulled each of the 2 out of the muffin tin and pressed them out into little rounds. I sprinkled them with salt and pepper and then baked and added cheese on just to melt. They were great so I fixed a disaster but how pitiful is it that I have a problem baking a premade product? sigh

LOL, but later I thought well I could have gotten creative doing the

same thing but cutting in strips and then twisting.

I use Rhodes frozen bread dough for my yeast rolls, and if you go to their website you find

all sorts of recipe for things that can be done with these lovely little balls of yeasty dough. I bet Parker House has the same suggestions. It is actually amazing what you can do with them.

At least you did not....

... try to lower the volume of your TV using your cell phone, and got really mad because it was not working!

(sigh)

Ha ! I have done that only reverse. I have picked up my remote and tried to answer it. We have way

too many gadgets to keep near us!

I searched high and low for my eyeglasses the other day...

and yes, they were on my head. Took me 30 minutes to figure that one out:)

I can "top" that....

... I don't use hair spray very often, so I keep it under the sink in the bathroom to minimize clutter

a couple of weeks ago I was going out for dinner and decided to put some hairspray. I stopped myself milliseconds before spraying Lysol Bathroom Spray all over me head smileys/wink.gif

I shiver just thinking about it....

Wasn't there a toothpaste mix-up issue with either you or Phil as well?

Once, in a hotel, I put lotion on my hair instead of conditioner.

I considered leaving it in to see what would happen but chickened out and washed again.

You have excellent memory!

The place was Lisbon. We were living in Paris and took a weekend to visit Portugal. Arriving at the hotel, I placed my stuff in the bathroom, and that included a kind of anti-wrinkle cream.

As I am at the balcony admiring the view from our hotel room, Phil comes in and says something along these lines: Wow, I tell you one thing, the Portuguese have a horrible taste for toothpaste - their stuff tastes TERRIBLE!

I felt a shiver up and down my spine, knowing what probably had happened. At first, he wasn't amused. But we ended up having a great laugh about it, and he decided his gums had never felt so young!
