I finally got around to cooking my corned beef today.

I went to make it using Ann's recipe and discovered we didn't have a beer in the house. So I decided to make a bbq brisket out of it. I didn't remember that it is already corned, I guess. I slow cooked it with bbq sauce, chili sauce and a packet of onion soup mix. Yuck!!! I should have just waited until I bought some beer. I won't be doing that again soon.

Guess what...that is a very common mistake that many people make

they want a bbq brisket and ask or buy a corned beef to make it with. I have been wanting a brisket to BBQ and will have to remember not to ask for "corned".
