I *finally* got to meet Pat/No CA in person! >>>>>

How fun!...Lisa, did you go north, or Pat, did you go south?

The weather looks beautiful, either way....I love california!!

 
I went south. Hubby went to Rose Bowl game and I

went to meet Lisa (I'm not a football fan). Next time it would be fun to meet up with Lisa at Penzeys in her area.

 
Oh my gosh...

I felt like such a dunce after you left - I forgot to tell you how to get back to the freeway from the pier - doh!

 
oh no worries, I dinked around the pier, walked the beach, drove

up Pacific Coast Hwy checking out other piers, beaches and shops. I'm pretty good with directions and it's not easy to get lost anyway paralleling the ocean. :eek:) Thanks for your suggestions to check out the piers and shops. It was a great day!!

 
Ah yes...I met Pat a bunch of years ago....

when I was in SF on a business trip.
She and Luisa (we've met up a couple of times) drove into the city and we had a lovely dinner.

I can also attest to her sparkling personality!
(and Pat, you haven't changed a bit, looking lovely as ever!)
