I finally made one of Sylvia's Tourtière's last night and it was just wonderful!

they are easy to make and the taste... wow! the cinnamon and cloves just give the pork an undescrible taste, it was like a slice of heaven and earth. I can't wait to make thme for my friends.

Sylvia, I was thinking that raisins mixed into the filling might be just fab. ever tried that or heard of it?

To be honest, we've been into the pig lately ourselves. The Niman Ranch pork products at...

Whole Foods is so wonderful. Last summer we BBQ'd tons of their St Louis style ribs, and we're definitely hooked on "Ham Royal"; not to mention the array of dried sausages.
