I found the absolute best way to cook lobster - make DH do it for me!

He grilled the tails tonight, basting with lobstery butter (from poaching last time) with herbs added. We served it with spicy garlic butter. Wow. It was so good, I forgot to drink my wine. The smell in my house reminds me of the seafood restaurant we used to patronize on lavish occasions when we first met, oh so many years ago. Now I'm wondering whether I can make stock for lobster bisque from two tail shells.

I was never a huge lobster fan before this. All has changed.

 
Sounds so amazing, I was smelling it as I was reading. You have inspired me

to get brave and do it! Our fish monger always has live lobster in a big tank and I stop and wish I knew how to do it well and not ruin an expensive seafood.

 
You should do it! Though I was glad I had nice dead tails, and no live lobster to deal with. smileys/smile.gif
