Funny you post this right after I finally got around to watching The World According to Monsanto

I'd been avoiding it, knowing what I'd see, but just finished and saw this.

I've been deeply disturbed by our "food" industry for quite some time. It's one of the reasons I've been researching soil for the last week and trying to decide if I want to drive nearly 100 miles to get biodynamic compost.
