Rich & I are staying at a lovely small hotel in France, not far from the Swiss border. The owner is Marc Faivre, whose restaurant (in the hotel) earned a star over a decade ago. His charming wife, Catherine, runs the hotel.

We dined like never before...and took pictures. When we get home I'll have to figure out how to post those pictures where you can see them.

great stuff!

Thanks to Sylvia (hi, Sylvia!!) I took a look at the website. The menu looks wonderful and the wine list is fantastic...very local and personal. What could be better? I wish we could eat like that here in Holland for those prices! well done, Judy! cheers, Bonnie

I am so jealous! Please for you, of course, but mostly jealous.

I left the website on the monitor all afternoon yesterday but no one took the hint smileys/wink.gif

Our journey to the south of France begins this afternoon. Hope we find places equally as great.

Along with another couple we've rented a house for 3 weeks from which we'll explore the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The excitement is mounting.......

We are now in Provence...

in a village named Buoux. It's between Aix and Avignon.
We spent today in l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. They have a very large market...many antiques. The mistral is blowing, but air is warm

Have a wonderful time!
