He used to have a lot of cooking demo's on his show. I watched him...

...nearly every night in the 80's and early 90's.

Remember the lady with the fire red hair? She was a home cook and he would banter back and forth with her. She was somewhat easily flustered, and Dave took full advantage.

I used to have a cookbook she published that had a bunch of notes about her appearances on Letterman's show. "Bev Tanner" was her name.

I had never seen this either. What a treat. She always had such complete control, ironically

by letting go of control and going with the flow. Someday I'll learn.
