We love the movie "Fatso". There's a scene where Dom Deluise needs the help of the "Chubby Checkers" to help him get over his craving to binge.

Two hugh "Checkers" come late a night to talk Dom down, but instead start to fantasize about thier various indulgences.

Seems that they all have at one time or another stuffed various delicious items (peanut butter cups, etc) in a jelly doughnut. They would sometimes even warm the doughnut so that the morsul melts into the "sweet delicious dough"---but I digress.

My confession is

sometimes when I read your delectible posts, I say to myself----"How would like to stuff that in a doughnut".

 
what can I say, I never thought of stuffing things into a donut other than jelly haha TOO FUNNY smileys/smile.gif

 
gee, I can picture you prone on a couch saying all this... but the idea is strangely appealing!

 
It I remember correctly--you suck out the jelly and fill---maybe with...

chocolate chip ice cream----no chocolate swirl even better!

(that's right from the movie) which all good foodies must rent.

 
The other day I swooned over every mouthful of a simple sandwich.

I used a good quality sourdough and grilled a smoked ham and swiss cheese sandwich in some sweet butter.

Ham and cheese on sourdough, crusty, warm, melty and.... perfect!

LOL - How about the part where Dom is looking up at a beautiful woman smiling at him

from out of her apartment window a couple of floors up while he's on the street. Tormented, he looks up at her, down at the peeled banana in his hand and repeats this over and over until he just decides to take a bite out of the banana - perhaps because it was closer to him?
