I have a craving...

but I can't quite put my finger on it! It involves shredded slow-roasted pork (of which I have plenty), chopped bread-and-butter pickles, butter lettuce, and pumpernickel swirl bread (I just made some the other day).

I don't know what else to put in there though. Cheese? Mayonnaise? Mustard? Something else? Something to bind the meat with the pickles and/or other stuff like maybe green onions? No binder, leave the meat loose?

I need suggestions, help brainstorming smileys/smile.gif

 
How about REC: Mid-South Carolina Mustard Sauce...

Mid-South Carolina Mustard Sauce

1 cup cider vinegar
6 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons maple syrup -- or honey
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons table salt
Ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients, including pepper to taste, in medium bowl.
