I have Charlie's recipe for Corned Beef and Cabbage by Cooks Country

Post #24041 which has a method for cooking the corned beef in a 300° oven for 4 1/2 to 5 hours. I made a notation on my copy of the recipe "best ever" and I want to make it again. Is there any reason why I could not do the same thing in my Crock Pot? I like to roast my carrots, fry cabbage wedges but cook potatoes in the same water as the corned beef.

I use a flat cut corned beef that has been processed in all organic ingredients such as celery juice and sea salt, it is very good.
