I have just come off my worst case of flu that I have had in decades.

I am feeling so much better now, but that was a bad one. I have to share something funny though.

I went to the store when my fever had already started to do a grocery shopping list for Superbowl Sunday, this must have been Thursday or Friday, not sure.

Finally on Monday, I was able to look through my pantry and refrigerator, and these are some of the things that I found that I bought on that shopping trip:

5 cans of Best Choice Traditional Pasta Sauce

2 can of Hormel's Hot Chili w/ Beans

4 cans of chopped clams

a giant bag of frozen waffle fries

a giant bag of frozen tater tots

5 lb chub of ground beef (ewww)

liverwurst

and I am sure there are some things that I haven't discovered yet. Honestly, I would love to know what I was planning.

Lesson: never shop while in a febrile state!

That is too funny. Except for the liverwurst, you are ready to host a fraternity, a football team

a construction crew or your local fire department.

I'm sure any number of guys are ready to propose to you now based on the tater tots alone smileys/smile.gif

OK, I got it. You were going to brown the hamburg and add it to the canned chili and beans and

serve it over the french fries. Then you were going to add the clams to the pasta sauce and serve it over pasta you already had in your pantry. The tater tots were appetizers to be dipped in something you had in the house. The liverwurst was for a sandwitch the next day.

First, let me say I'm glad you're feeling better. With that said, the first

thing you did wrong is go shopping. When you have a fever you are contagious. Please, next time do the right thing and stay home! OK, I'll slink away and await the onslaught coming by all.
