lonely over there! Thanks to LisainLA for the message drop. And thanks to Mimi for creating such a wonderful and "familiar" place. I appreciate your company and look forward to your advice. I also hope I can contribute something as well, although, I must say, its tough to beat you folks.

Thanks.... *smile*

Great to 'see' you, friend. You're not going to be interviewed...(m)

...about Alaska by my younger son. He chose Miami, Florida for his 3rd Grade City Report.

I have to tell you that he has the same teacher as my older boy (the one that interviewed you for Anchorage Alaska), and she still uses my son's Anchorage report, complete with your interview, as an example to the new class of an especially thorough job of 'city reporting'.

You have been immortalized in Mrs. Johnson's 3rd Grade class. Thanks again!

Michael

Good to see you too ...

I am happy for older son and glad I could be of assistance. And I am happy for younder son too as Miami is an exciting place to consider for a report as well. Were you able to connect with any "Forum" folks for Miami?

Mrs. Johnson is ok in my book and of course the fact that your son did such a good job on the report makes Alaska look good too.

Things have been crazy here for a long time now. I hope I can cook like I want to next week but .... it is not looking good. However, I just made a pot of chile, red chile with green (Hatch) roasted peppers for a pot luck at work. They loved it. Every time I tell them the chile is made from pure powder and blended dried peppers ... and NO tomato, they can't believe it. It was great.

Best to you and yours Michael for the holidays...
Brian
