I just bought a new induction stove about 3 wks. ago and I love it!

I never knew I could like a stove so much. As Michael in Phoenix knows, owning a Kitchen Aid is not desirous and there are often repairs.

I finally had it with KA and my husband started looking at stoves for me. He's the who one chose it; I trusted his judgment (he's not a cook smileys/smile.gif).

Now that I have it I am really enjoying it. I cannot see myself going back to the type of stoves I've always cooked on.

What brand did you purchase?

I have a Diva of which only has 2 burners working. Thank goodness they are the 2 large burners. I love my Diva but they don't make it anymore and I am on the prowl for a new induction cooktop. I am thinking of a Bosch. I would love to know which brand you purchased. I would not go back to a regular cooktop ever again.

Judy, I bought a General Electric (see more inside)

We bought it at Amazon, it was a big savings for us over Home Depot & Loews.

It has a LARGER burner, 2 medium size, 1 melts and 1 warms. That said, you can cook on them all at high speeds or low. It also has a warming drawer. In the oven there is one rack that pulls out further than the rest; we have that as our top rack.

One thing I am so thankful I have never heard any noises and that was something I've heard about convection stoves. My husband said that possibly those folks didn't have the correct cookware.
