I just completed this recipe - Came out Great! Woman's Day Foolproof Make-Ahead Gravy

I could so use this NOW, Thanks! simlar to Tyler's but his uses..

smoked wings and roasts them along w/ the veg, which I was going to do, but now doing this ahead. I was counting burners vs menu dishes & of course # of menu items won!

Luisa, I made Tyler's recipe last year and my oven was such a mess that I had to

self-clean it and I thought the recipe was really wonderful, but, you get to a point where you have to draw the line on so much work.

This was much easier and it came out beautifully. On Thanksgiving when I am reheating it I will add some pan drippings from the Turkey.

I don't really want to be doing a million things when the turkey comes out of the oven especially making gravy, there is enough to be completed with other dishes.

so you used fresh wings, not smoked? And you didn't use the oven at all?

I'm going to the store soon to buy some wings. I'm leaning towards the smoked. Was the flavor of the gravy very smokey? Hope it's not too crowded...

Luisa, Correct I used fresh wings not smoked. No oven all stove top cooking with the Woman's Day

Recipe.

Hi Glennis_NoCA: Can you give specific directions. I looked online and it's not clear how I achiev

Hi Glennis,

Love to watch Tyler Florence and saw this episode. I'm not sure I will smoke the turkey wings this year, but want to know how to do it indoors.

Thanks!
Ann

Saw your prob with the dirty oven so raosted at 375 instead of 400. Took a bit longer but the combo

of Tyler's and the Womans Day one was just right. All I had to do on the day of was make a quick rue & stir in that wonderful broth.
