I just had the best experience at my grocery store

I first went to the local grocery (convenient as next to the liquor store) and had to leave because no one even knew what a chipotle pepper is! Ugh- grammar not good here!

Anyway,

I had a great experience at the prefered grocery store. They cubed my meat, delivered my peppers, and hunted for an ingredient that I have never used before. that would be "Mexican chocolate". Duh?? I will post after i try it to let you know whether it is semi sweet or not.

I loved the service.

Okay - which stores????

Dying to know which ones you think were great and not so great and compare notes since we are living in the same neighborhood.

PS - did you hear what happened at the Y Sunday? It was my daughter that was robbed.

When making hot chocolate, or in a recipe calling for "Mexican Chocolate", it is referring to

the disks of chocolate that have those additional ingredients. It is really dry and almost crumbly.

Thanks for the info on Mexican chocolate everyone.

Missy, The first store was Kroger and the better one was Harris Teeter. They are just so much happier and helpful.
I used the chocolate for Tyler's Texas Chile from Food Network. It is really good and we will be having it for dinner tonight after soccer! I also made the cornbread from the same show. It is nothing to rave about, but not bad.
