I just love the holdiay baking magazines, but it seems they're reprinting old ones with new covers..

I saw a coupla new ones at Costco the other day. But upon a closer look, I saw in fine print on the cover a blurb about "formerly published as ..." or something to that effect.

There were two different magazines - Better Homes and Gardens, and a Taste of Home, I think.

Since I always buy the cookie mags, I'm sure I already have the old versions.

Just wanted to warn you in case you were tempted to buy these "reprinted" ones....

Along the same lines, does anyone know if Fine Cooking published a Holiday Baking issue this year?

 
Sandi, I'm with you, I look forward to all the Holiday Issues and have already

fallen victim to the BH&G one! I haven't found any other good new ones yet this year.

 
BHG has also "reprinted" actual cookbooks.

I have two copies of a Christmas cookie cookbook that they just changed the cover on! I was so mad.

 
Thanks Sandi, you saved me from buying a duplicate cookie magazine today...

I took a look at the inside and sure enough, it was the one I bought last year.
