I didn't use the recipe, but I did use the technique. It is from a magazine called Home Cooking Magazine. I just got a sample copy in the mail.
You prepare French toast as you would normally, only you cook it in your waffle iron. My son loved it.
Waffle French Toast
Karen Farr, Warsaw, MO.
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
8-10 slice bread
maple syrup
Preheat waffle iron. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, salt and melted butter together. Dip bread in egg mixture and bake in waffle iron for 2-3 minutes. Serve with syrup.
