This was on the giant jar of peeled garlic from Costco. It is very similar to roasted garlic, and so easy to make. This time I used about 1 cup of olive oil to sautee, and was left with some wonderful garlic infused olive oil. The whole house smells so good! I add it to soups, mashed potatoes, etc. anything you would add roasted garlic to.

why bother with the crackers?

i can't believe how i was ever squeamish about all of that garlic. as with roasted garlic the taste is so ungarlicky.

and , as i understand it, is still as effective against vampires.

as duke ellington might have said, "if it tastes good, it IS good."
