it was pretty bland. I doctored it up with a few Tbsp mayonnaise, chopped ginger plus a little ground ginger, a tsp of dark sesame oil, pinch of hot pepper flakes, small shake of celery seeds, a few sprinkles of red vinegar, and I used extra virgin olive oil instead of canola.
