I just want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. You are all family and it was comforting

to be able to share. We are now going through a week of mourning -it is called sitting shiva.

We stay at home (at my home) and people come to pay their respects and to comfort. I have always believed it is one of the most caring rituals in

the Jewish religion. It so helps you to ease into the new status.

During the day, it is mostly our contempories who come and by evening the house is filled with

young people and there is lots of healing laughter. (And the wine comes out...)

Thank you all again.

I wish I could sit shiva with you, Elaine

That came to mind immediately when I heard about Uri. How I wanted to bring you a plate of something delicious to set out for your family and friends, give you a big hug, and partake in the service, and spend the evening with your family and friends and learn about your very special husband. Please know you continue to be in our thoughts daily.
