I know no one here can believe I love Nadia G's B*tchin Kitchen. No one else can either. But check

out these "Underground" vegetable recipes. All three look promising, if a little rich. Chard Mascarpone Ravioli; Garlic-roasted Brussels Sprout and fried parsnip chips with sausage; Cauliflower and Cheddar Soup with leeks and pancetta.

So what if she spent half the show in a jungle in Contras drag (a tiny black dress with an ammunition belt) capturing and taunting underground types: hipsters, gamers, and raw-foodies.

When is rich a problem?

My problem is "Hungarian"

I was set up by the transit police in Budapest and I have staged a protest against all things Hungarian ever since...

Of course...

Barb that was a stupid comment on my part. One of my dearest friends is Hungarian and Mom's chicken paprikasch, stuffed cabbage rolls with sausage, kolache, and strudels are always special treats.

What I was referring to was a very bad experience I had in Budapest. I was going to the parliament, showed the metro ticket seller, the picture of where I wanted to go and he sold me a ticket. This required me to go two stops on the M1, then transfer to the M3 and go one more stop. When I was coming up the escalator there was a transit police welcoming committee waiting for me. The guy in the ticket booth didn't sell me the correct ticket because in Budapest, when you transfer to another line, you are required to use another ticket (how messed up is that?). So he apparently called and described me because they were waiting for me and pounced on me when I came up, demanded to see my ticket, which I produced, properly cancelled. Then they informed me that I was riding illegally and had to pay a fine or go to jail. I told them I asked the Metro guy for the ticket, told him where I was going, and this is what he sold me--the problem is with your system, not me, I clearly asked the ticket seller for the correct ticket to my destination. No, pay the fine schmuck.

I took the first train out of Budapest the next morning to Austria and never plan to go back.

You know I was just busting you!! : ) I think I mentioned to you that I had a similar

experience with the Hungarian police... BUT, if I were to take the drastic measure of boycotting everything Hungarian, I would be out of my hubby!! : )

When / if I go again, in the future, I will let the police know you give them kind regards and think of the fondly! : )
