then drive for an hour, store them in the work refrigerator for half the day, then drive 3 more hours to Tampa, then bake them.

That's possible, right??

 
Cinnamon rolls worked out fine. Thanks G!. Now if I could only do this with pecan rolls...

Tried something like this once before and reheated the already baked rolls in the pan with sugar/butter/nut on the bottom and rolls on top. The sugar bypassed caramelization, passed Go, DID NOT collect $200, and turned granule-ly ? gritty?...nasty and hard to chew/digest.

It was eaten anyway (with this group, there is no down side) but it was a huge disappointment for me.
