I know you can freeze some herbs. Can you freeze parsley? TIA

Yes. Rinse, spin dry, then snip off stems. Freeze in freezer bags. But it won't be good except in

cooked dishes. Pull off what you need and mince while frozen. The flavor keeps well, but the texture doesn't, so you'll want to mince it fine.

I've used this procedure for parsley, cilantro, basil, mint, tarragon, and dill.

About the herbs, I have had great success in freezing many of my Herbs and I have Julia Child to thank. Several years ago I read one of her books and she wrote that if you chop the herbs before they are frozen it releases the oil that inturn keep the herbs fresh. My parsley stays loose and I can use it in anything fresh or cooked. Basil works well also but doesn't last as long as the parsley.

The Basil didn't turn black for me however

it didn't last as long as the parsley. It lost its flavor after awhile. I just used the last of the parsley from last summer.
