I leave today for a 2 week trip to Sri Lanka and Maldives. Expect to be eating lots of fresh....

I was very sad to find out that there is little fishing in the Agean as it has been so over fished. Apparently there are some theories about over harvesting the red coral leading to a serious decline in fish. The water is clear and beautiful. Often we could see quite deep. But, we only saw very tiny fish when we were out sailing smileys/frown.gif

 
Hi Deb! It was a trip of a life time. I will probably never go on another trip like this one...

We were in Istanbul for two days and then on a private yacht (with a wonderful chef!) for 7 days! So unbelievable. I will try this weekend to post some pics. It was like no place I have ever been smileys/smile.gif The feel of ancientness was everywhere as was everything we saw ancient, what a different feel from here.
